Some Tips For Your Upcoming Fantasy Baseball Draft
As the calendar turns from February into March, stat head losers across the nation change their focus from the NFL combine to the upcoming Fantasy Baseball Season.  One of the best parts of any Fantasy Season is the draft, check that, the live draft.  For all you newbies that have never participated in a live draft before, the kind writers at fourballs.com offer you 5 tips to ensure a smooth draft. 1. Be prepared with your pick.  Nothing gets me madder than the guy who isn’t prepared to make their pick.  This guys just spent the last 15 minutes screwing around, and now spends the five minutes he has to make a pick with his head buried in a magazine. The only time that you should ever take the full amount of allotted time is if the person immediately before you took the player that you were thinking of selecting.  4. Bring your own magazine.  Hey, I paid 7 bucks for this thing…and now I’m going to loan it to you so you can beat me? 5. Control you gas problem.  There is nothing worse than sitting in a basement (yes, these drafts usually happen in basements) with 9 of your friends, one of whom continuously busts ass.  It’s usually the guy who went out drink the night before, hasn’t kept track of who’s been drafted, is never prepared with a pick and forgot his magazine at home.  Don’t be that guy.
